Why Geear is Pursuing a SOC 2 Type II Audit

We’ve officially engaged Sensiba LLP, a leading CPA firm, to conduct a SOC 2 Type II attestation engagement. This independent audit, built on AICPA standards, will evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of our internal controls to ensure they meet the highest standards of security, availability, and confidentiality.

The process is rigorous. Over the coming months, this CPA firm will examine our systems and practices to validate that our controls are not only well-designed but consistently effective in protecting sensitive data. When complete, Geear.io will receive a SOC 2 Type II report - an assurance to our partners that we operate with the same discipline, safeguards, and compliance focus that credit unions demand.
