Neal formed the company in 2004 as the only employee working with a variety of contractors. Committed to build an organization of high quality people delivering superior services, Neal has always focused on excellence in customer service and creating raving fans of our clients.

Neal focuses his energy on ensuring the firm continues to evolve and remain highly relevant and capable in the digital marketing and sales development space, and provides specific sales and business growth consulting services to a variety of clients. Additionally, the development of employees has and remains a top priority. Believing that satisfied and extraordinary employees deliver exceptional results for clients, Neal places a great deal of emphasis on hiring the right people, empowering them to perform, and developing them to reach their full potential.

Rarely found in his office, Neal invests a great deal of time participating in and leading local business organizations. In the last 10 years, he’s given back to the business community in the following roles:

A sought-after speaker and expert in sales, human resources development and business growth strategies, Neal has addressed business owners, sales and marketing professionals, and digital marketing consultants in South America, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.

Prior to WebStrategies, Neal spent nearly 20 years in senior management at Circuit City; and has extensive experience in sales, marketing, finance, human resources and operations management. The experience he gained leading a division of Circuit City equipped him to develop a successful small business. Neal earned a BS Degree in Business from the University of MO.

On a personal side, Neal enjoys spending time with his wife of 40+ years, two daughters and four grandchildren. An armchair social anthropologist, Neal is a reality TV fan. He is also a bit of a fitness fanatic and enjoys hitting the links whenever he gets a chance.

John Asuncion

John believes that learning never stops, even after school, and he enjoys taking online programming courses. Carrie Dedrick

Carrie Dedrick comes to WebStrategies with over five years of experience in the digital marketing field. She spent most of her career on the editorial team of a website with an audience of over 2 million people, responsible for copywriting, editing, content strategy, and social media marketing. Carrie enjoys interacting with clients and the challenge of problem-solving to find solutions as an account manager. A proud alumna of Bridgewater College, she earned her B.A. in Communication Studies and English in 2012.

Carrie's husband, toddler daughter, and two adopted dogs keep her busy. When she can squeeze in spare time, she enjoys running, biking, dancing, Disney movies, and trips to Busch Gardens. Carrie would spend all of her time in the Outer Banks of North Carolina if she could.

Kelly Browning

Kelly serves as a Marketing Manager for WebStrategies. Having humorously referred to herself as a control freak, Kelly brings sanity and organization to chaos. She first came to Impression Marketing (now WebStrategies) as a Project and Operations Manager.

Since transitioning to the Marketing Manager position, she has had the opportunity to further develop skills that are key in today’s digital marketing: marketing automation, content marketing management, business development strategies and more. Kelly focuses on promoting the strategic approach that WebStrategies takes to maximizing results for every client, and introducing digital marketing concepts to businesses which can most benefit from our services.

Kelly’s free time is spent keeping up with the adventures of her family, including three sons and two dogs. Hobbies include running, coaching running teams, spending time outside, and volunteering. Her contributions to the community include serving as a member and chair of the local School Health Advisory Board, volunteering at her kids’ schools, and making Meals on Wheels deliveries.

Kelly is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Brooke Thaxton

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Brooke joined the WebStrategies team with a background in start-up marketing, a dabble in the fashion industry, and social media management for a local advertising agency. With a passion for the digital space and strategic content creation, she is inspired by creative problem-solving that moves clients forward. Her love for people and all things digital marketing runs deep.

Brooke graduated from Christopher Newport University as President of the Class of 2016. Her degree focuses on Mass Communications and a minor in Leadership Studies.

In her spare time, Brooke is an avid half marathon runner, coffee shop connoisseur and loves the challenge of learning a new language (currently Dutch). She serves as the Director of Membership Engagement for the Richmond American Marketing Association and enjoys adventures with her Norwegian Elkhound rescue dog.

Emily Niedermaier

A self-professed digital advertising nerd, Emily is passionate about helping you creatively find new ways to reach and convert your audience. She is a problem solver, a progressive thinker, and genuinely gets excited about innovation across the digital landscape. Emily is a Facebook Blueprint Certified Planning Professional, as well as current in Google AdWords Certifications for Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Video Advertising, Mobile Advertising, and Google Analytics.

Emily is a 2011 graduate of James Madison University's Hart School of Hospitality, Sport, and Recreation Management. Originally planning to pursue a career in sports marketing, Emily worked at Richmond International Raceway for five years, handling everything from ticket sales and promotions, to content strategy, email marketing, social media, and digital advertising. She also worked for Media General, Inc., for nearly two years, managing advertising operations for the television stations' digital platforms.

In her free time, Emily enjoys going on adventures with her cocker spaniel/shih tzu mix, Bowser, attending concerts, playing sports, and working on her craft beer list at Jack Brown's.

Kira Routh

Brian Marsh

As the Senior Manager of Digital Strategy, Brian provides solutions that blend strategy with creativity. His work in content marketing is backed by his Hubspot Certification, Hubspot Inbound Certification, and years of experience.

Before WebStrategies, Brian worked with his wife as the Office & Marketing Manager of their local veterinary practice. He led administrative and marketing efforts, from establishing business plans to client communications. In 2014, Brian took the leap to work full-time as a freelance content writer and copywriter. He enjoyed working with small and large businesses across the country. During that time, Brian provided content fulfillment for WebStrategies before eventually joining the team full-time.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys traveling with his wife, Courtney. They have been all across the US, as well as Grenada, France, Spain and Ireland. They even eloped in Paris in 2014. At home, Brian feeds his competitive appetite with sports like basketball and broomball. He also loves hanging out with his dog, Chewy, and his extended family.

As Business Development manager, Justin is focused on finding the next "raving fan" by constructing custom digital marketing plans for prospective clients. With over 10 years experience in sales and marketing he has a passion for client satisfaction.

Prior to WebStrategies, Justin worked at Richmond Raceway for six years with a variety of responsibilities including digital advertising, email marketing, content strategy, promotions and most recently guest services and ticket sales. He also owned and operated a power washing company for 3 years in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia while managing all sales, marketing and operational aspects of the business.

In his free time, Justin loves to travel with his wife Caitlin and their Corgi, Charlie. When not traveling, you will most likely find him at a local golf course or local Richmond brewery.
